Campaigns
Open Campaigns to compare traffic carrying UTM parameters.
Create a campaign link
Use Create campaign to open Create campaign link, then enter a destination URL and any of source, medium, campaign, term and content. Copy the resulting URL into the campaign you are running. For example:
https://example.com/pricing?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=launch
The tracker reads source, medium, campaign, term and content. It records pathname separately from the query string.
The destination must be an HTTP or HTTPS URL of at most 2,048 characters. Each campaign field accepts up to 64 characters. Existing query parameters are preserved; a non-empty field replaces its matching UTM parameter and an empty field adds nothing. Leaving a field empty does not remove a UTM value already present in the destination URL. Review the generated link before publishing it. If clipboard access fails, select and copy the URL manually.
Term and content are tracked dimensions for new activity. Older events without those fields appear as (none); Seean does not reconstruct them from old page paths. Include utm_campaign to select the campaign sessions in this report.
Saved links
Give the link a Name (up to 60 characters) and choose Save to keep it for later; Save stays disabled until the name and a valid URL are present, and copying never requires a name. Saved links are stored per website, up to 50 each, and are visible to everyone with access to the website. Owners and admins can save, edit and delete; viewers can only copy.
The Saved links list in the builder shows every saved link (up to 50 per website), newest first:
- Edit loads the link into the fields; Update link saves the change and Cancel edit returns to a blank builder.
- Copy link rebuilds the URL from the saved fields; fields left empty are omitted from the URL.
- Delete asks for confirmation and removes only the saved entry. Links you have already published keep working, and collected campaign traffic is not affected.
Saving a link creates no campaign row - rows appear only when tagged traffic is collected.
Performance tabs
Group results by Campaigns, Sources, Mediums, Source / medium, Terms or Content. The report shows visitors, views, conversions, orders and revenue. Here, Conversions counts occurrences of enabled conversion goal names. With no enabled goals, it counts all custom events. It does not count unique converted people.
The report uses the selected website and date range. A row’s Copy UTM link action builds a link from the website root and that row’s grouping values; it does not recover the original landing-page URL. Use the link builder when you need a particular destination path.
Click a known grouping value to open Overview with its UTM filter. (none) has no filter/copy action; older saved combined source/medium rows without separate values also remain read-only. Source and medium are stored as separate grouping components, so a slash in either value does not combine unrelated rows.
Compare periods
Use the comparison control beside the date range to select a preceding period, fixed-day shift or custom interval. The six KPI changes compare complete interval totals. Zero against zero displays 0%; new positive activity against zero displays +100% as a new-activity indicator. The comparison button shows the target dates; the calendar states the display timezone. Grouping and conversion-event tables remain current-period tables. See date ranges and comparisons for calendar, loading and error behavior.
Conversion events and revenue
The Conversion events table uses the same enabled-goal selection within campaign sessions. Current and comparison analyses snapshot the enabled names at their start; changing goals does not rewrite running or saved results. Orders and revenue use each order’s campaign: the one supplied with the order data, otherwise the utm_campaign of the buyer’s most recent tagged visit before the order.
Missing campaign traffic
Check the published link, tracker installation and selected period. A campaign label without collected activity will not create a report row. Changes to tagged campaign values can start a new tracker session.
Opening the builder or saving a link creates no campaign row. No campaign traffic yet means there is no matching collected campaign traffic for the selected scope, not that the generated URL is invalid. A visit with no campaign tag does not invent a campaign label.
