Date ranges and filters
Use the date control in the dashboard toolbar. The selected range is carried in the URL.
Select a range
Choose a preset or a custom interval. Changing a range recalculates the active report and resets paginated views such as the activity log. Controls available on a page reflect that report; Realtime has its own short rolling windows.
Compare with the previous period
Where the comparison control is available, choose Previous period. It compares against the interval immediately before the selected one. This is different from choosing an arbitrary second date range.
Filter matching sessions
Overview filters include page, entry, exit, referrer, country, browser, operating system, device and custom-event name. A matching event selects the session; other activity from that session can still contribute to the report. Entry, exit and source describe the session.
This explains why filtering by a path can still show other pages visited in matching sessions.
Clear and share a filter
Remove filter chips above the KPIs. The URL preserves range and filter parameters for returning to the same view, but does not grant access to someone else. Use a share link when you intend to publish a read-only dashboard.
