Locations

Overview → Locations groups visitors by country, with Regions and Cities tabs. Clicking a country applies a country filter to the Overview.

Where estimates come from

Country, region and city are read from the network edge headers on each collection request; the visitor IP address itself is never stored. When the edge reports no country, Seean falls back to the browser-reported timezone or language, which several countries can share, so a result can be missing or inaccurate. Region and city are only recorded when the edge provides them.

Realtime globe

Realtime places one marker per city or coordinates reported by the network edge (rounded to about 10 km); visitors without one sit at their country’s centre. These are approximate positions, not a visitor’s physical location.

Expand the list

The card shows the top 8 countries, regions or cities. Expand it to search the full list by name or code, load more rows and sort by visitors or revenue; see inspect a result.

Available detail

Precise coordinates are not collected. Location reports should not be used to identify a person or verify where a particular visitor lives. Compare country totals within the same period and filter scope.
