Public profiles
A public profile publishes selected websites at https://app.seean.io/@/YOUR_HANDLE. It is off by default. Visitors do not need a Seean account.
Set up your profile
- Open Account → Public profile.
- Choose a Public handle: 3-30 lowercase letters, digits or hyphens, starting with a letter or digit. It must be unused and becomes permanent on the first save, including a disabled draft.
- Optionally set a Public display name. An empty name uses your handle; your account email is never published.
- Choose the statistics period: the last 7, 30 or 90 complete UTC days.
- Select the websites to publish. Only websites you own are available; shared team websites and the demo cannot be selected. Newly created sites are not automatically added.
- Optionally enable Publish revenue or Link to existing shared dashboards.
- Enable the profile and choose Save public profile, then View public profile. A failed save shows the server’s reason; a rate-limited save says how many seconds to wait.
Changes take effect after saving. Invalid/taken handles and unauthorized website selections are refused. The page uses your chosen display name and handle, plus account membership month/year. Add an optional photo under Account → Your account → Profile photo; it appears here when your profile is enabled. See photo sizes and removal.
What visitors see
The KPI strip and website table show visitors, visits, pageviews, bounce rate and session time, plus net revenue when enabled. Bounce rate and session time use visit-weighted averages across the selected websites. Metrics unavailable in imported history display -, rather than a fabricated zero. On small screens the KPI strip and table scroll horizontally.
The page also includes a visitor chart, website rankings by visitors and a 365-day pageview heatmap. The heatmap uses complete UTC days, one square per day. It scrolls horizontally on small screens; each square has a date/count label. On tablets the KPI strip shows three cells per row, on phones two, and the website table scrolls sideways inside its card. The configured period ends at the latest UTC midnight when the analysis starts; public pages never apply a visitor’s or the owner’s display time zone. Reload after a day changes to obtain the new period.
All calculations reuse Seean’s existing analysis engine. Preparing reports show a loading status and retry controls when capacity is temporarily unavailable. Missing or disabled profiles show Profile not found. An enabled profile with no selected websites shows No websites published.
Visitors are summed across websites. Imported daily visitor aggregates retain source definitions; they do not establish unique people across days or websites. No raw activity, visitor IDs, private page paths, event names, chart notes, email, integration credentials or account settings are published; gross, refunded and net amounts and order counts are removed unless revenue publishing is enabled.
Optional revenue
Revenue is off by default and checked by the server on every result read. When enabled, the configured-period net revenue total, chart and per-site values become public. Different reporting currencies are shown per site; a mixed-currency aggregate is labelled Mixed currencies and has no combined revenue chart. The annual heatmap exposes pageviews only.
Optional dashboard links
This publishes an existing active dashboard share link for each selected website when one exists; it does not create a link. Widget links are excluded. A shared dashboard can expose more detail, including revenue, independently of the profile’s revenue switch. Review Sharing before enabling this option. Expired links are hidden on the next minute update and rejected by the destination; revoked links disappear on the next reactive update.
Stop sharing
Clear Enable public profile and save. Future profile reads, including previous analysis references, are denied. The handle remains reserved for your account. Removing a selected website or deleting it closes that website’s profile access. Deleting your account removes its profile.
Disabling a profile does not revoke separately created shared-dashboard links and cannot recall statistics somebody already downloaded. Revoke those links in the website’s Sharing settings if needed.
