Export data

Open Settings → Data on the website you want to export, then select the report period.

Events CSV

Choose Download events CSV to export records from the analytics store. Columns, in order: ts, name, path, hostname, referrer, country, browser, os, device, visitorId, sessionId, utmSource, utmMedium, utmCampaign, utmTerm, utmContent, properties. The file includes pageviews and custom events together; an empty selection produces the heading row only.

  • ts is an ISO 8601 timestamp in UTC (2026-09-01T00:00:00.001Z), independent of your account time zone.
  • hostname is the page host the tracker reported; it is empty for older records and for events sent without one.
  • properties holds the custom event’s properties as one JSON object ({"plan":"pro","seats":3}) and is empty when the event carried none. Older records can also have empty term/content columns.
  • Current visitor IDs are daily website-scoped hashes; legacy identifiers stay unchanged.

Orders CSV

Choose Download orders CSV. Columns, in order: ts, externalId, amount, refundedAmount, net, currency, refunded, refundCount, product, kind, visitorId, landingPath, convertingPath, firstSource, lastSource, touches, attributionLimited, campaign.

  • Money columns are integers in the minor unit of that row’s currency (cents for USD, yen for JPY), exactly as your integration sent them.
  • externalId is the order ID from your payment provider or Order API; it is empty for orders sent without one.
  • refundedAmount is the total refunded so far, net is amount − refundedAmount, refunded is true only when the whole amount was refunded, and refundCount counts ledger entries (a full refund recorded before ledgers existed counts as one).
  • landingPath, convertingPath, firstSource, lastSource and touches are the stored attribution fields, derived from the buyer’s visits or supplied by your integration; attributionLimited marks orders whose visit history exceeded the attribution limits. The chosen attribution model and lookback are not applied in this file.

Refunds CSV

Choose Download refunds CSV for one row per refund of the orders in the selected period: orderTs, externalId, refundId, amount, currency, ts. orderTs is the order’s timestamp, ts the refund’s own timestamp, both ISO UTC. A full refund recorded before the ledger existed appears as one row with refundId legacy and the order’s timestamp. Orders without refunds contribute no rows.

Reconciling with the Revenue report

Filter both files to your website’s reporting currency, then: the sum of net in the orders CSV equals Net in the Revenue report for the same period, the sum of refundedAmount (or of amount in the refunds CSV) equals Refunds, and the sum of amount equals Gross. Refunds count in the period of their order, not of the refund, in both the report and the files. Orders in other currencies stay in the CSV with their own currency value while the report excludes them and shows an excluded-order notice. Never sum amount alone as net revenue. The private revenue key is never exported.

Download progress

Exports fetch records in pages and show progress. Keep the page open until completion. If a download is cancelled or fails, read the displayed message and retry; an incomplete export should not be treated as a complete archive.

Event export pages share the capture point established when the download starts, and preserve separate records with identical timestamps. Collection accepted after that point belongs to a later export. Pending storage transfers can briefly delay the first page. If the website’s dataset is reset or changes during cleanup, restart the export instead of using the partial file. If an older open app asks you to reload for the current event export, reload Seean and start again.

The selected site and range determine the export. Overview filter chips are not additional CSV export filters.

Browsers with a supported save-file picker stream into your chosen file. Other browsers prepare the download in memory, with a 50 MiB limit. If that limit is reached, choose a shorter period or use a browser that supports streaming. Cancelling the save dialog cancels the export; this screen does not have a separate pause/resume control. A failed streamed export is aborted rather than presented as complete.

CSV string cells that could be treated as spreadsheet formulas receive a leading apostrophe. This protects spreadsheet opening and can make those cell values differ from their raw text representation.

Summary reports

For a readable summary instead of raw records, use PDF and email reports. Export data before deleting a website or account.

Imported Plausible aggregates are not raw events or orders and are not included in these CSV files. Download the saved source ZIP and inspect its tables under Settings → Data → Import history; see the import guide.
